Po dolaczeniu do The Pain Machinery wokalisty Jonasa Hedberga grupa nieprzerwanie rozwija swoje poczatkowe zalozenia. Zespól czesto opisywany jako brakujace ogniwo pomiedzy punkiem, house i EMB zyskal trwala reputacje dzieki intensywnym i energetycznym wystepom w calej Europie.

Podróz wstecz do korzeni elektronicznego szalenstwa. Zespól Severe Illusion jest aktywny od 2000r, wydal 3 albumy i zagral mnóstwo koncertów w calej Europie. Ostatnio wspólpracuje z The Pain Machinery czego efekt bedzie mozna uslyszec juz wkrótce.

In English:
For the first time in Poland, Complete Control Productions shows off the Swedish part of their repertoir in the form of a CCP Showdown & releaseparty for their latest signed band Guilt Trip.
Special guests for the evening are Polish Synchropath from Wroclaw.
There will be a mix of Swedish and Polish DJ's performing this evening as well, and with some luck the Guilt Trip will play some of their favourites during a late hour.
Concerts start at 22:00
*** GUILT TRIP [SE/PL]
Guilt Trip was born out of the ashes of electronic maurauder Chirurgie Esthetique, stalwarts of Sweden's industrial scene who were active throughout the nineties. Fuelled by dissent and incisive observations of mankind's less enticing traits, Guilt Trip have little time for posturing and prefer to go straight for the listener's jugular. Despite being influenced by what post-industrial aficionados term the "Vancouver sound", shaped by precursors such as Numb and Skinny Puppy, Guilt Trip have established an identity all of their own over the course of their three previous albums. The twelve tracks on Feed the Fire push the point further with their maelstrom of intricate, aggressive electronics and searing vocals.

*** THE PAIN MACHINERY [SE]
Having experimented with synths, samplers and drum machines since the late 1980's, Anders Karlsson released his first work as The Pain Machinery in 1992. The initial idea was to mix the raw energy of UK street punk and the cold precision of electro/industrial music. Later joined by vocalist Jonas Hedberg, The Pain Machinery has continued to expand on their original formula through the years. The band, frequently described as the missing link between punk, house and Electronic Body Music, has gained a lasting reputation for their intense and physical live shows around Europe

*** SEVERE ILLUSION [SE]
After a few years of relative silence, Swedish EBM veterans Severe Illusion are preparing a full scale comeback: the album No More Alive Than You Deserve is due for release on CCP later this year. As usual with Severe Illusion, a traditional EBM sound combined with lots of distortion and serious attitude problems is to be expected. The album deals with the perceived freedom of the individual, the failure of democracy and the advantages of ignorace. A journey back to the roots of riot electronics. Severe Illusion have been active since 2000, releasing 3 albums and playing numerous club gigs all over Europe. Lately the band have been collaborating with The Pain Machinery, and the results will be released in the near future.

*** SYNCHROPATH [PL]
Synchropath is an electro-industrial project founded by composer and vokalist Qbz.
After several changes in their line-up the band now works solidly as a studio/stage trio since 2011.
In their portfolio we find their mini-album "Distance Hurts The Numb Ones". Songs from the release can be found on the british label Dark Mourning Promotion under the title "Pulse" & "Mecha[nized]" as well as on the compilations "Halotan Sounds 1.0" & "Synthematika Two".
The band performs in Poland as well as internationally and has performed together with such acts as Closterkeller and Fading Colours. They have also been seen performing at Castle Party 2011 and are booked for Castle Party 2012 as well. The band is in the process of finishing up their latest single named "Long-term Isolation" which will be followed up by a full-length album.

Guilt Trip a.k.a. Chirurgie Esthetique
NewsPosted by Guilt Trip 14 Mar, 2012 02:58:04
Remember the 80's and the beginnings of the 90's?
Well, Guilt Trip were making noises those days under another shroud, namely Chirurgie Esthetique!
On the 28'th of April You will get the opportunity to hear the tunes from those golden times!
Guilt Trip will dig deep into their archives to get you a glimpse of their former self as Chirurgie Esthetique. Unfortunately the old playbacks are in very bad shape, luckily we have our MIDI files to extract the songs from and are in the middle of the process of restoring some of the material from the time.
Be sure not to miss this one, it's going to be a blast from the past with some great Swedish Electronic and Goth Acts performing at the same party!!!

Manifesto
InfoPosted by Guilt Trip 13 Mar, 2012 20:14:35
"We are Guilt Trip. We exist in the in between as existence is relative. We destroy to create, oppose to liberate and sodomize to not be victimized. We are the splinter in our brother's and sister's eye. We spit in the face of "truth", "reality" and authority. Deconstruct, revaluate, resist, react and expand. Guilt Trip. Banging on the walls of reality. Eternal warfare is the price of that existence. Eternally returning. To be sane we have to go out of our minds. We can be our mind's own midwife. The normal is perverse so we'll slit throats to help with the breathing. Extreme conditions demand extreme responses. Guilt Trip. Sometimes personal but always political as the personal is political. Everything is ideology. A false universe. Rules + submission = culture. Disobey. Tear it all down and start again. Guilt Trip are one of a number, part of a whole, individuals in a collective. Subjects trapped in construed positions, smashing our heads against that cage. A cure for history. New hammers, new rhythms, new chants. Guilt Trip is beyond good and evil. Pretentious? Yes, but for a reason, so open the blood gates and pack your bags. We're going on a Guilt Trip."

We are Guilt Trip
InfoPosted by Guilt Trip 08 Mar, 2012 14:40:44
Guilt Trip was formed from the band Chirurgie Esthetique in the early 2000's.The core of the band has always been K.Lindberg and M.Nilsson. Their history dates back to the late 80's when they started a collaboration after having worked with electronic music individually. Finding a common interest in the heavier and darker side of the electronic scene of that era.
In the late 1990's the two had moved to the Swedish capitol and there began what to them is known as the brap-sessions. These sessions led the band to discover new horizons and a new attitude towards music- making and sound engineering, having always been somewhat anarchic it now turned towards controlled chaos. The band also saw a shift in politics, from introvert soul searching to the thought of music as activism, the musician as shaman, liberator and accuser. As the music turned harsher and more direct so too did the lyrics. Categorically refusing categorisation they hold and define a category all of their own.
Members: M.Nilsson (Vocals & Lyrics, Songwriting), K.Lindberg (Keys, Noises, Songwriting), J.Bergman (Live Riffs, Electric Guitar, Riff-Guru), H.Ã
kerman (Live Keys & Noise), D.Hrynczenko (Live Noise).
Musically situated in the in between. Yet there is a recognisable heritage ranging from pop, rock, industrial as well as metal. The band has reached a point in its own evolution where they've found a sound of their own without even having the need to attempt copying the sound and feel of any other band.
Influences and inspirational sources are Nine Inch Nails, Skinny Puppy, Marilyn Manson, Tool, Ministry, Clawfinger, Man Machine Industry, Curve, KMFDM, Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie, Rage Against The Machine, Front 242, Frontline Assembly, Click Click, Borghesia, a;Grumh, Portion Control, Klinik, Insekt, Coil, The Legendary Pink Dots, Einstürzende Neubauten, the Prodigy, Ohgr, Bel Canto, Biosphere, Leætherstrip, New Order, the Chemical Brothers, The Cure, Can, Kraftwerk just to mention a few.
The Discography consists of a handfull demos and a limited physical release of the album "Branded" towards the end of 2009. Half a year later, in may 2010, Branded was finally released digitally and can be found through most retailchannels. Tracks from Branded have been aired on radio as well as played in front of club audiences. Yet another production, this time 100% electronics is waiting to be released during 2011/12 and plans are to release a 10" Vinyl EP in 2012.
On the silverscreen Guilt Trip can be found in the filmmaker and director Jonas Wolchers film "Dragonetti - the Ruthless Contract Killer" where the movie features two tracks from the album "Branded" as well as some atmospheric sounds from a third track have been used in the movie.
On Stage the bands live performances have always been received as being powerful and energetic, always searching for new ways to enhance the experience in limited ways the band is always a welcome sight amongst audiences.
Guilt Trip have amongst others done gigs with:
8kHz Mono, The Pain Machinery, Run Level Zero, Stockholm Wrecking Crew, And One, Dance or Die, OOMPH!, Elegant Machinery, Scene of Ritual, Coded Menthol, Awful Death, Opponent Teuton, Shock Trauma, Daily Planet, Nuclear 45, Terra Zone, Morlocks, Political Assasination, Embrocation.
Reviewers have described Guilt Trip like this:

"jag hör ett Guilt Trip som kör upp jämsides med mina bästa Manson-upplevelser"
